About the Event
The Cartwrights are Sean Markey and Chuck Hall. Combining almost 80 years of stage experience between the two of them, they joined forces on a small stage in Crown King, AZ in 2019, and the Cartwrights were born! The duo, with Sean on acoustic guitar and vocals, and Chuck on electric guitar, make a sound and vibe well beyond expectations.
Sean spent decades on bass, backing many artists, such as Hans Olson, Walt Richardson and Tim Dustin who are now in the AZ Hall of Fame. He later began a successful solo career, playing guitar and singing, throughout the Southwest and beyond.
Chuck has been a part of the music scene for 40 years including with Texas Red and the Heartbreakers, Chuck Hall and the Brick Wall, and the Chuck Hall Band. Chuck is also in the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame since 2000, and has toured Scandinavia extensively.
